Much discussion with Professor Doepler concerning the Nibelung hoard, and then also about reducing the ornamentation as much as possible; I, for example, beg that Brünnhilde be given no bridal attire, and that Wotan wear no embroidered mantle in the great scene with Brünnhilde.
