Ever more lessons, errands, and business affairs. Anxiety concerning the accomodation; R. writes a circular that he will not be able to grant any free places. He reads a history of the Templars.[1] I the last book which Mother sent me, by Taine, “Les Origines de la France contemporaine”. —

Lonely evenings; R. has taken a chill.
